The mosaic of Recaredo’s family vineyards is the starting point for the Corpinnats Terrers and Intens Rosat. These wines are born from the harmonious blending of different estate-owned vineyards, made from organic and biodynamic grapes, with each plot contributing the distinctive character of its soil, orientation and microclimate. A tribute to Mediterranean transparency, where the finesse of historic varieties such as xarel·lo, macabeu, parellada, monastrell and garnatxa negra meets the patience of long ageing in the darkness of our cellars, in the heart of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.

The richness of blending our own plots

The Vineyard Mosaic Corpinnats are born from blending grapes from different family-owned plots, located in various sites across the Alt Penedès. Each vineyard contributes its own particularities of soil, orientation and landscape, and the blending allows the richness and diversity of the territory to be expressed from a global perspective. The result of precise work in the vineyard and long ageing on the lees, these are sparkling wines of great balance, depth and ageing potential. Wines with a strong gastronomic vocation, where freshness and tension integrate with a creamy texture and a complex expression of the landscape.

Terrers and Intens Rosat: Luminosity, freshness and varietal typicity

Within this mosaic live the icons that define our winegrowing vocation. Recaredo Terrers (available in 0.75 cl and magnum (1.5 l) formats) embodies the depth and luminosity of the Mediterranean landscape, combining the structure of xarel·lo with the delicacy of macabeu and parellada. Recaredo Intens Rosat, meanwhile, explores the authenticity of red varieties such as monastrell and garnacha negra macerated with their skins, offering a dry, lively and deeply structured journey.

Craftsmanship and strict commitment: the Brut Nature seal

All the Corpinnats born from our vineyard mosaic share an unwavering commitment to the Brut Nature character, with no added sugars or dosage liqueur. In the cellar, we combine technical precision with artisan know-how, respecting the time and natural evolution of each wine. Long ageing under natural cork stoppers and manual disgorging at natural temperature are part of a rigorous process aimed at preserving the identity and expression of each vintage.

The result is dry, balanced Corpinnat sparkling wines with a fine, well-integrated bubble, made with respect for the territory and a clear commitment to long ageing.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Vineyard Mosaic

What’s the difference between “Vineyard Mosaic” and a “Single-Vineyard Wine”?

While single-vineyard wines come exclusively from one plot with a homogeneous soil and microclimate (such as Serral del Vell or Subtil), the Vineyard Mosaic wines (Terrers and Intens Rosat) are born from combining grapes from several family-owned plots. This blending allows for a more harmonious wine profile that is representative of the full range of our terroirs in the Alt Penedès.

During harvest, we press the grapes from each plot or vineyard separately and, once fermentation is complete, we blend them to craft these two Corpinnats.

Why is ageing under natural cork so important for these wines?

Natural cork is a renewable material that accompanies the evolution of our Corpinnats throughout their long ageing “en rima” (on their sides). Its permeability allows for a very slow, gradual exchange of oxygen, encouraging the sparkling wine’s steady evolution over time. In the Vineyard Mosaic Corpinnats, ageing under natural cork contributes to greater complexity and harmony, allowing the freshness, texture and aromas typical of long ageing to integrate progressively. It’s a choice consistent with our understanding of age-worthy wines: time, precision and respect for the wine’s natural evolution.

What dishes pair best with Vineyard Mosaic Corpinnats?

The Brut Nature character, together with the freshness and complexity gained during long ageing, make these Corpinnats wines with a strong gastronomic vocation, capable of accompanying a meal from start to finish. Their balance and depth make them especially versatile alongside dishes such as Iberian ham, shellfish and molluscs, baked or grilled fish, and rice dishes, whether seafood- or mountain-style. They also pair well with dishes where texture, salinity and intensity call for a wine with freshness and staying power. Recaredo Intens Rosat, with its greater structure and expressiveness, further expands the culinary possibilities, pairing especially well with white meats, carpaccios and more intense Japanese cuisine.
